Classic elegance, heartbreaking passion and extraordinary vocal beauty are the essential elements of Mexican soprano María Garza’s international success.


First Prize winner of Bellas Artes “Carlo Morelli” National Opera Competition and Mexican Ambassador for the prestigious BBC Cardiff “Singer of the World” Competition, María Garza is a multidisciplinary artist whose craft has been recognized with numerous prizes and awards.


A graduate in voice from the National Music Conservatory of Mexico City, a Theater Arts Bachelor from the University of California in Los Angeles and a Master in Opera performance from the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Maria’s effervescent talent and artistry continue to expand relentlessly.


Throughout her extensive career, María has given life to the principal roles of the most famous operas, operettas and zarzuelas sharing the stage with the greatest singers of the genre.  In addition, her versatility has enabled her to compose and develop a vast repertoire of songs, as well as sacred music.
